Compagnie Du Ponant’s newest luxury ship Le SOLÉAL will round off its maiden season with 13 new itineraries to explore Asia this winter.

The French yacht style cruise ship has 132 rooms with sea views, private balconies, and flat screen TV’s with complimentary on-demand movies. Of those rooms, 13 are suites with 24-hr butler service. There are two restaurants on board that offer a range of casual to fine dining with French influenced cuisine, including wine pairings from the yacht’s private wine cellar, in addition to 24-hr room service. Also on board is a full service spa, medical center, fitness center, outdoor pool and bar, 250 seat theatre, and a library with Internet stations.

Available cruises range from 7 to 17 nights. Because of Le SOLÉAL’s smaller size, she will access waters typically restricted to cruise ships and dock in infamously remote ports. These include Borneo, Indonesia, Myanmar, also known as Burma, and Oman, in southwest Asia.

The winter itineraries begin this July. Some of the more exotic journeys are a 10-night cruise from Petropavlovsk, Russia to Otaru, Japan, a 17-night cruise from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Muscat, Oman, and a 13-night cruise from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
